


· Those disciples and practitioners from the village (both communities) who would
sincerely be interested to go in retreat for short and long periods and could not
afford such facilities could apply for this facilitiy,
· First cum first basis
Eligibility for the Second Floor Retreat Center
· Those disciples and practitioners coming from far of lands to master in Buddhism would be welcomed here
· This facility would have to be afforded by the individuals
· Registration would be required and they would be intimated on availability
· The inmates could be there of their own accord; that is, if the members have no other family members and want to shift
themselves to the old age home, they would be welcomed. They could contribute for the services if they can afford it
· With the consent of the inmates, children who wish to benefit from this service for their parents may need to contribute
towards the institute to help provide these services


· Each dormitory would have the 6 toilets and 6 bathrooms.
2 dormitories with 20 beds each
· The inmates would be cared for by 5 care givers
(could be 2/3 Para-professionals and/or 2 employed caregivers
+ 2 volunteering caregivers)
· Volunteers would be welcome. Family members could chose to
contribute time to help run the place whenever possible
· 4 persons (two male, two female) would also be part of the care
giving team
· A resident nurse and social worker would also be a part of this floor.
Individual rooms would be needed for them
· Since this is a charitable trust all donations and contributions would be welcomed and acceptable to help run and sustain the
place and render help to those who cannot afford these facilities
First Floor - Retreat Center for Local Community
Ten single bed rooms
The Monastery provides the community (both Tibetan and local) with regular Dharma activities, like poojas, classes by H.H. Khamtrul Rhimpoche, H.E. Dorzong Rhimpoche. They teach the community ways to practice and live the life with Dharma.
"It is through the meditations of the Buddha that we try to realize the true meaning of the dharma. It is through insight meditation (Vipassana) that the Buddha instructed that laypeople would be able to realize the dharma themselves. The Buddha taught that direct realization on an individual level was superior to relying on speculation or traditional beliefs".
· Thus the community would be encouraged to do their practice in longer sessions by staying in the retreat home. This facility
would be available for free so as to encourage them to do their practice.
· Ten single rooms would be available
· 5 toilets and 5 bathrooms would be present on this floor
· The practitioners could avail their food from the common kitchen and could provide some voluntary service to help run the
kitchen
Second Floor - Retreat Center for Others
Ten fully equipped rooms
· These single bed rooms will be equipped with a pantry and an attached toilet and bathroom
· This would be a paid service open to any one who could afford it
· The money collected from this would go towards running the institute
· They would be equipped so that the practitioners could sit there in retreat without being disturbed
